Miss Marilyn

This September, New York based Authentic Brands Group is launching a Marilyn Monroe inspired shoe line. The line is a continuation of the existing accessories and apparel line sold in Macy's stores all over the country. While the stockist for the shoe line has not been made public one can only speculate it will obviously sell at Macy's... duh. 

"Marilyn is fun and flirty, but she's also glamorous and sophisticated. It's a little bit of both and it will touch on everything," Nick Woodhouse, CEO of Authentic Brands Group, told WWD.

Oh Beyoncé, You Have Our Hearts.

A couple weeks ago we announced Beyoncés collaboration in our Post NaNaNa Diva....and now we finally get to droll over her un real face and body in the full ad. Ugh, why can't we look like her???

Yummy Smells

This Spring/Summer season our favorite designers are launching their new scents which are feminine and youthful and housed in the prettiest of glass bottles. Their inspiration came from various directions such as the anxiously awaited Hollywood make of The Great Gatsby, vintage bird cages or model of the moment Cara Delevigne. This spring it is all about the fruity and fresh of girly girl scents and these are our favs.  

FRUITY AND FRESH:

Burburry Body Tender 

  Inspired by Cara, who is also the face of the perfume, is made with a mix of lemon, apple, peach and absinthe with a core of rose, tea leaves,asmuse and sandal wood.

Valentino Acqua Floreale 

A combination of bergamont and orange blossom.. delish!

The anxiously awaited debut sent of See by Chloé

A mix of bergamont, apple blossom, accord, Jasmine, Sandal Wood and Vanilla. The bottle, inspired by prominent vintage hues, can't you see, its a wire bird cage, complete with little feet and all!

Carven Le Parfume 

 Delicious Sweet pea, Jasmine and Ylang Ylang all mixed together.

Prada Candy L'Eau

This is the new and lighter version of Candy by Prada (one of our all time favorites) made with white must, caramel, benzoin, sweet pea and citrus.

Mullets

You know whats funny? How mullets are so ugly and anyone who decides that they want to cut their hair in such a hedious way is a complete fool, yet, high low skirts which have an uncanny resemblence to mullets are so cool. Unlike mullets, they are so versatile, you can dress them up or down or all around.

Jewels that inspire

The point of blogs, magazines and sites like pinterest are to create inspiration. Sometimes, you get inspiration from the least expected of places, like the inspiration we got from these ethnic jewels at none other than.... the zoo gift shop. Yes, is pathetic and lame, but you can't help but adore these bangles and beaded necklaces. Ethnic inspired fashion is one of this springs key fashions, sometimes though, a cheetah print, or blouse with zebras running around, is a bit intimidating to wear, so just add a colorful African bangle or a beaded necklace and you're set!
